George Gleixner is a multi-disciplinary artist based in New York City known for an intuition-driven approach to their work in an eclectic mix of audiovisual fields. With a music degree from the University of Virginia George excels in composition and production, releasing works in personal and commercial contexts under the Gleix and Broken Alias monikers. Their prolific creative output extends to experimental electrical engineering and commissioned works in the realm of circuit bending, analog electronics, and custom hardware video synthesizers.
George currently does extensive work in the field of live concert visuals, media production, and AV installations for large scale venues internationally and in the NYC area, utilizing the design of custom hardware and software solutions for creative expression and problem solving. He is also one part of Wavefield, a Brooklyn based DIY space for multimedia arts, community, and education. With a preference for software tools like TouchDesigner, Notch, Resolume, and FL Studio, he also offers public educational resources reflecting a commitment to innovation, community engagement, and knowledge that facilitates personal expression in the multimedia landscape.
