Hi all,
Thanks for bearing with me as I go through the inevitable age-old process of profound disillusionment esp. as it relates to both previous and existing creative engagements and become (at least for the moment) an increasingly disappointed, jaded, more withdrawn person with lessening trust in the world around me due to continued exposure to the shamelessly exploitative systems many of us often find ourselves in but don't (or can't) always reckon with for one reason or another. This is par for the course for somebody primarily working in art-focused and art-adjacent spaces in NYC for 7 years, right?
I appreciate those who reached out, including those curious about the content of mine they wished was accessible. While I don't make these decisions to have suddenly hidden a bulk of my life's work from public view arbitrarily, I am sorry for any frustrations or confusion caused by their sudden disappearance. It does make me happy to know that my previous works and resources were appreciated and useful to some.
I wouldn't expect everything to be gone forever, but while things are offline I'll be taking some much needed time to (re)evaluate a number of things, including my digital presence and the presence of my previous works and resources. I've currently disabled most pages of my website, deactivated my Instagram, and my YouTube has been hidden - but if there is some resource or video of mine in specific you're after, please feel free to reach out to make a request. If I'm able (no guarantees) I will do what I can to share it directly.
There may be occasional re-activation of my social media presence while figuring a few things out.
In the meantime, I've left my music releases available, which you can still find at
https://www.gleix.bandcamp.com
https://www.brokenalias.bandcamp.com
I've still a large collection of unreleased compositions and a few albums I hope to share sometime in the future.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Love and well wishes for the New Year.
Be good to each other.
